Wendy and Simon's wedding was held at the gorgeous Audley's Wood Hotel. Wendy's yellow colour scheme was so refreshing, a dollop of sunshine!
Here are some favourites!

This picture makes me laugh so much - I love the expressions and the fact only two figures seem to really want to catch the bouquet; the lady in the front and the guy in the back!

Francesca and Richard got married in the pretty village of Bramley in Surrey and had their reception at Gate Street Barn.
Here's a First Look at some of my favourites from the day.

We held up traffic to get this shot! I just loved the bright green canopy and the symmetry of the shot.

As I'm really busy, I'm posting a few mini blogs which I've termed "First Look". When I get more time, I will be doing the usual full blog post but for now here's a taster of what will be coming up...
Abi & Tom had two ceremonies, a civil and a Hindu ceremony. The colours were amazing I can't wait to show you more!

Katya and Fawaz had a humanist ceremony in the grounds of Richmond's The Bingham. A stunning venue, modern and chic - it was the perfect setting for a stylish wedding on the lawn.
Katya looked amazing - elegant and understated.
Here are some of my favourites from the day.

What a gorgeous day they had for the outdoor ceremony!

Congratulations Katya & Fawaz!

This time of year is hugely busy for me. So, until I get some breathing space and I can do some full length posts on the weddings I've shot, I've decided to just show you what's coming soon on the blog.
I can't wait to show you some more of Charlotte's pictures - she had the most incredible flowers. Her marquee was so stunning and Jades Flowers, as ever, did a fantastic job.

Just a few shots to whet your appetite! I LOVE shooting weddings at The Painted Hall in Greenwich and Kate & Matthew's day was no exception.

How amazing is that room?!!
Hopefully I can show you more when I have a bit more time!

I'd been looking forward to photographing this wedding for a while. My good friend and very talented wedding planner Zoe Lingard was at the helm. From start to finish Georgiann and Jamie's day was stylish, elegant and very romantic. Held at the beautiful Tylney Hall, a stunning country house in the heart of Hampshire. The couple are both from the USA and friends flew in from around the globe to attend.
Here are a few of my favourites. It was really hard to choose them, as there were so many images I loved.

Georgiann's flowers were by Moutan Flowers; they were not only very pretty but smelt great. A mixture of rosemary, lavender and sage.

Georgiann presented her bridesmaids with earings, umbrellas and colourful wellies as a thank you!

Georgiann's 'something old' were her mothers shoes.

All the guys wore these funky stripped socks from Thomas Pink.

My couple chose to have a few pictures taken prior to their outdoor ceremony. We were really lucky the sun did in fact make an appearance just in time - apparently it had been ordered in advance by Zoe Lingard. Good job Zoe!

Georgiann and Jamie made their vows to each other in front of their guests under a tree. The light was just incredible!

Married!

I loved shooting at Tylney Hall, there were so many opportunities for pictures and the staff were friendly and helpful.

The couple's wedding breakfast was held in the Chestnut Suit, so it was very appropriate that they collected their place cards from beneath this beautiful old chestnut tree. All the cards had a drawing of a chestnut tree on them.

Georgiann's colour palette was carried through to her cup cakes and tables.

Congratulations Georgiann & Jamie!

Beauberry House in Dulwich was the setting for Le Anh & Dau's wedding. It's the first time I've shot at this venue, which is strange considering it's only down the road from me. It's a lovely little place, modern and bright with a Georgian feel.
I arrived at Le Anh's house to photograph her getting ready and the house with a buzz with activity. The room had lots of possibilities for the shoot with interesting features like Le Anh's round mirror and her cool Marilyn Monroe clock. Le Anh was very easy to shoot - she's so stunning!

Le Anh had two little dogs were both very cute and they weren't shy of the camera!
Le Anh shoes were very cool and were by Carvela

I love this shot, I'd noticed the clock earlier and I was glad I could use it as part of this picture (every girl as a little bit of Marilyn in her!)

I took a few pictures of the girls before Le Anh walked down the aisle.
Their dresses (New Look) and flowers (arranged by the brides God-sister) had a vintage feel to them.

Delicious pastries and sandwiches were served to the couple's guests in the afternoon.

There was quite a scramble to grab the bouquet. Howver, the first time it was thrown, no-one managed to catch it - so was thrown again! The lucky lady was, in fact, due to be the next to marry as she is getting married in September - so it does work! :)

We had loads of time and luckily Le Anh didn't mind posing for a few quick portraits.

After a lovely afternoon tea the guests made their way to Hong Kong City chinese restaurant for a banquet - the food was amazing!

Congratulations Le Anh & Dau

I've taken a bit of a break from blogging; my trip to the Arctic Circle was amazing but left me with a huge backlog of work and over 400 emails to answer! But now I've almost caught up and I thought I'd share a recent wedding at Parklands, Quendon Hall.
I've shot a lot of weddings at Quendon; it's probably my most photographed venue. I met Natasha & Amit a while ago at the wedding of Natasha's cousin Nandini, so it was great to see so many familiar faces.
The couple’s Hindu wedding ceremony was full of symbolism and colour. It’s always an absolute joy to photograph such a ceremony and be charged with the role of capturing the images for posterity.
Natasha was in her full Indian dress when I arrived and was just getting the finishing touches to her hair and make up.

Natasha looked so stunning.

In a Hindu wedding ceremony the bride and groom take seven steps around their fire whilst joined together and each step has a meaning.
Seven Vows In Hindu Wedding

Natasha and Amit's tables were adorned with these gorgeous pink martini vases.

Amit and Natasha both changed into their evening outfits before dinner - Amit and the boys looked very cool!

Congratulations Natasha & Amit!

I'm off on my holidays until 21st July. I'm cruising to the Arctic Circle! I hope to post lots of pictures when I get back.
During this time, my internet access will be limited. For urgent enquiries contact me on my email and I'll try and get back to you.
It was one of the hottest days of the year when Jo and Gus tied the knot at The Inn on The Green. Jo was very relaxed and wanted to make the most of the afternoon with her guests, so we did some of the family groups before the ceremony. It's quite unusual do it this way around in the UK but it made a huge amount of sense.
The ceremony was taking place in the conservatory, which was really hot at this point. The sun was shining straight down into the conservatory - as well as being hot, it didn't create the most flattering light, so I prayed for a big cloud to come over (just for the service!). My prayers were answered and I was blessed with some soft light to photograph the couple exchanging their vows.
Here are some of my favourite wedding photographs of the day.

Jo's pretty pink colour scheme was soft and feminine.

We caught Jo's dad practicing his speech on the morning of the wedding.

We went for a wander around the village green and used a kind neighbours garden for some pictures of Jo and Gus together.

Jo's little bridemaids were really cute!

Jo and Gus had a charicaturist draw lots of couples together on one page as a gift and a bit of fun, while guests sipped champagne in the heat of the afternoon.

Congratulations Jo & Gus!

Natalie and Simon got married in a civil wedding ceremony at Dodmore House near Northampton.
Here are some of my favourites from the day.

The sky was very dark and we heard thunder a couple of times but luckily we managed to avoid the showers.

Simon and Natalie had their pretty laterns made in Singapore. A very different idea, which worked really well.

Natalie's younger brothers were kept busy with a quiz based on the wedding guests, they ran around all afternoon asking questions. What a great idea to keep kids occupied.

A suprize guest that thrilled the onlookers - a chinese dragon. He danced to the sound of drums and came very close to some of the guests. I'm such a girly, I actually felt a bit frightened at points!

Natalie's little brother was very cool on the dancefloor and put on quite a performance for his many admirers. :)

Congratulations Natalie & Simon

Wengtak and Penny got married in Nottingham and then made the journey north to Hodsock Priory.
Here are some of my favourites from the day.

Penny looked so gorgeous when she arrived outside the church.

Charlotte & Simon's wedding took place at St John the Baptist church in the pretty village of Alresford in Hampshire with the reception held at Longwood Shooting Lodge. Charlotte's preparations started at a nearby hotel where I began the shoot. Charlotte got ready with her two bridesmaids Fi and Karen and they were chatting away to Charlotte whilst she her hair and make up artist worked away. A very relaxed way to start the day - with a glass of champagne and some delicious sandwiches.
It was a struggle to choose images for the blog as their were so many pictures and lots of little details I loved. I'll start, of course, with the gorgeous shoes!

Married!

Charlotte & Simon's wedding transportation was this gorgeous little blue camper van - how cute is that?! Inside the cream leather seats were decked out with soft cushions and petals.

Charlotte's relaxed, country style was reflected inside the marquee. She made all of the bunting herself - it must have taken her months! Very pretty.

The girls short dresses were really cute.

I love subtle humour in pictures and this one made me smile a lot!

This is my favourite of the day, about half an hour before in started to rain.

Congratulations Charlotte & Simon
